The Nicaragua Solidarity Coalition expresses solidarity with the Palestinian people amid the ongoing genocide, ethnic cleansing, and acts of terrorism being committed by Zionist Israel, which is a key element in US objectives in maintaining world dominance.
We categorically condemn the United States government for its central role in supplying armaments, technology and billions of dollars in funding, as well as other forms of diplomatic support to Israel, to equip the occupying force so that it can commit these atrocities. We further condemn NATO and all other governments which provide support to Israel as part of efforts to maintain imperialist domination throughout the world.
All trade and cooperation with Israel helps sustain the genocide of the Palestinian people, which includes the catastrophic violence and massacres that Israel is enacting on Gaza and its people, and the terror being unleashed on Palestinians in the West Bank.
There is no justification for the more than 75 years of occupation, displacement, apartheid, robbing of Palestinian land, torture, political imprisonment, rights violations and mass murder endured by the indigenous Palestinian people, at the hands of the illegal Israeli occupation.
Israel acts as a rogue entity and poses a danger to all of humanity, as Zionism is an inherently supremacist, racist, violent and extremist ideology. We warn of the presence in Latin America and the Caribbean of the Israeli military which in the last century has played a significant role in the atrocities and crimes against humanity committed against the peoples in the Americas, by training, arming and enabling violence, torture and other forms of brutal repression. The violations of international law for which Israel’s government and military officials must be tried, should include the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed throughout the occupation of Palestine as well as those committed abroad.
We support the right of Palestinians and their organizations to resist and fight against the occupation “by all necessary means, including armed struggle” (UN Resolution 37/43 of the 90th plenary session of 1982).
We are resolute in our unconditional support for the Palestinian people and their cause of national liberation.
